Cellos come in various fraction sizes, as small as an ⅛ up to a full size. The shops can help you find the right size for your child.
Renting an instrument will come as an outfit of cello, bow, case, and rosin. Should anything happen to your instrument, you should take it to the store that you have rented from. Sheet music will have to be purchased and any of the shops listed will have the necessary books to begin lessons. Links to additional online music stores can be found here.
Here are a list of physical shops that we recommend for renting your cello.
Hammond Ashley Violins
Located in Issaquah, this is at the top of our recommended list of shops for rentals.
Bischofberger Violins – Seattle
This is the Seattle location for Bischofberger Violins. They have competitive prices for rentals, though different rental agreements in terms of repairs and strings.
Bischofberger Violins – Kirkland
The Kirkland location!
Sten Olsen Violins
Another great shop in Seattle with good rentals.
